The meeting was called to order at 10:06 a.m. in the Board Room

ALDERMAN FRIEDMAN MOVED THAT BILL 2004, AMENDING CHAPTER 470 OF THE PARKVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD SELF-STORAGE UNITS AND MINI-WAREHOUSES TO  ALLOWABLE  CONDITIONAL USES, BE APPROVED FOR FIRST READING BY TITLE ONLY;  ALDERMAN ARNOLD SECONDED; ALL AYE; MOTION CARRIED.         

 

ALDERMAN FRIEDMAN MOVED THAT BILL 2004 BE APPROVED ON FIRST READING AND PASSED TO SECOND READING BY TITLE ONLY; ALDERMAN DAVID McCOY SECONDED; ALL AYE; MOTION CARRIED.

 

ALDERMAN FRIEDMAN MOVED THAT BILL 2004 BE APPROVED ON SECOND READING TO BECOME ORDINANCE 1989; ALDERMAN ARNOLD SECONDED; ALL AYE BY ROLL CALL; MOTION CARRIED 5-0.

ALDERMAN FRIEDMAN MOVED THAT BILL 2005, AUTHORIZING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND REZONING OF PARKVILLE SELF-STORAGE, BE APPROVED FOR FIRST READING BY TITLE ONLY; ALDERMAN ARNOLD SECONDED; ALL AYE; MOTION CARRIED.

 

ALDERMAN FRIEDMAN MOVED THAT BILL 2005 BE APPROVED ON FIRST READING AND PASSED TO SECOND READING BY TITLE ONLY; ALDERMAN POOLE SECONDED; ALL AYE; MOTION CARRIED.


ALDERMAN FRIEDMAN MOVED THAT BILL 2005 BE APPROVED ON SECOND READING TO BECOME ORDINANCE 1990; ALDERMAN POOLE SECONDED; ALL AYE BY ROLL CALL; MOTION CARRIED 5-0.

 

Above bill was posted 12/7/01.

 

Mayor Quitmeier explained about the bill to further define residency requirements for candidacy for people living in the newly annexed area.  It was agreed to table it until the next special meeting, to be held December 11th.   City Clerk Barbara Lance was directed to provide copies of the case law findings from Attorney Jack Campbell=s office for each aldermen for that meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 a.m. , and was followed by a work session to discuss the TIF plan.
