BOARD OF ALDERMEN

CITY OF PARKVILLE, MISSOURI

May 21, 2001

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by Mayor William M. Quitmeier at 11:30 a.m. in the Train Depot.

Ward 3 Alderman Marvin Ferguson - present

Ward 3 Alderman Linda Arnold - present

Ward 4 Alderman Frank McCoy - not present

Ward 4 Alderman Marc Sportsman - present

ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Pat Hawver

Mayor Quitmeier explained that this meeting was called for the sole purpose of considering a resort liquor license and a Sunday liquor license for Papa Frank=s at its new location at 2^nd and East Streets. The agenda was posted Friday, May 25^th, at City Hall, and the four media representatives who cover Parkville were called on faxed on Friday.

Copies of the liquor license application were distributed. Discussion ensued. The mayor asked for any questions or objections to the license. There were none.

ALDERMAN ARNOLD MOVED TO APPROVE A TEMPORARY RESORT LIQUOR LICENSE AND A SUNDAY SALES LIQUOR LICENSE FOR PAPA FRANK=S AT 2^ND AND EAST STREETS; ALDERMAN SPORTSMAN SECONDED; ALL AYE; MOTION CARRIED 6-0.

ALDERMAN SPORTSMAN MOVED TO ADJOURN.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:35 a.m.
